Ecosystem Card Architects
Our Industrial Roots
AMA Group was founded in Genoa in 1993.
In the early years, our focus was on the distribution and resale of plastic cards. But it quickly became clear that the real opportunity was not simply supplying a product – it was managing the entire lifecycle behind it.
We invested in research, technologies and production processes to improve quality, security and customization capabilities.
In 2001 we reached a pivotal milestone: the acquisition of our first in-house card production and personalization facility. From that moment on, we chose to control every stage of the process — from raw materials to encoding, up to the integration with our clients’ digital systems.
Today, industrial card manufacturing and software development coexist within the same projects. Because the real value is not the card itself, but the system that makes it work for the business.

The Value We Deliver
An End-to-End Approach
Over time, the role of cards within organizations has evolved — and so has our role. Today we don’t simply supply physical cards. We design complete ecosystems that include:
- certified industrial production of cards and credentials
- integrated security technologies (chip, magnetic stripe, RFID)
- custom authorization systems
- welfare portals and automated order management platforms
- integration with POS systems, ERP, CRM and legacy infrastructures
Every project is designed as a unique system where the physical and digital components are developed together, ensuring consistency, security and long-term scalability.
Built on Integration
Our approach is based on a simple principle: technology should adapt to the organization, not the other way around. For this reason we design custom solutions rather than imposing rigid, pre-configured platforms.
We analyse existing infrastructures, identify integration points and build the technological framework around the client’s operational model.
The result is a system that works seamlessly within the company’s ecosystem while maintaining full flexibility for future growth.
